360° Approach to Skull Base Tumors

CEANNE neurosurgeon Dr. Milton Rasteli, former skull base surgery fellow at Cleveland Clinic, performed the removal of the lower portion of a large skull base tumor using a minimally invasive endoscopic endonasal technique at the CEANNE Guarapuava Cancer Center.

This type of approach is used in selected cases involving complex skull base tumors, allowing access to deep anatomical regions through the nasal cavity, without the need for larger external incisions. The technique requires advanced anatomical knowledge, specialized training, and a multidisciplinary structure prepared for complex neurosurgical care.
