The Advanced Center for Neurology and Neurosurgery (CEANNE) is proud to announce another milestone in its journey of scientific and educational development: the launch of Surgical Anatomy of the Ear: Dissection Based on Operative Techniques. In just two years, this is CEANNE’s third publication, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to excellence in medical education and specialized training.
This comprehensive and detailed guide presents a step-by-step approach to dissection techniques used in major ear surgeries, including mastoidectomy, facial nerve procedures, cochlear implants, bone-anchored hearing devices, and lateral skull base surgery.
The book was carefully designed to serve as a practical and accessible resource for otologic surgeons at all levels, supporting both laboratory training and the improvement of surgical practice.
CEANNE congratulates the editors Dr. Joel Lavinsky, Arthur Castilho, Dr. Wagner Rodrigues, and Dr. André Maranhão for their dedication and expertise, and thanks Thieme Brazil for its partnership in publishing this work.
CEANNE also extends its sincere gratitude to ABORL-CCF and the Brazilian Society of Otology for their essential support in this project. Together, these institutions continue to contribute to the advancement of otolaryngology in Brazil.
