Experts Discuss Skull Base Tumors in Session Moderated by CEANNE’s Joel Lavinsky

The 53rd Brazilian Congress of Otorhinolaryngology and Cervico-Facial Surgery, held in Salvador, Bahia, featured an important discussion on lateral skull base tumors.

Dr. Joel Lavinsky, representing CEANNE, served as moderator of the session, leading a discussion with renowned surgeons including Dr. Oswaldo Laercio Mendonça Cruz, Dr. Marcos Franca, and Dr. Ronaldo Toledo.

During the session, complex and challenging cases were presented and discussed, promoting a valuable exchange of experiences, perspectives, and technical knowledge among the specialists in attendance.

The congress also marked the launch of the book Surgical Anatomy of the Ear: Dissection Based on Operative Techniques, written by Dr. Lavinsky in collaboration with Arthur Castilho, Dr. Vagner Rodrigues, and Dr. André Maranhão.
